As an avid Kombi owner I could never find a design that I liked amonst the plethora of Golden Breed and Rip Curl “stuff” out there, so I thought I’d have a go at producing some of my own designs.

Kombis have always played a major part in my life.

My parents bought a brand new Microbus in 1976, and from that moment on, I fell in love with them. They owned it for over 13 years and in that time I learned to drive in it, went camping in it, took it all over the country side, and slept off a few drunken stupors in it (when I was much younger!)

Fate dictated that I too would soon come to have my own Kombi, and I have now had my beautiful Black Betty now for about 8 years.

Owning a Kombi can be an addictive thing, who knows how long it will be before Betty gets some company?
